Before starting their Thinking Maps journey, Kenmore’s scores on state tests put them at the bottom of the 13 elementary schools in their district. Their student scores now make them the top-ranked school in Baldwin Park USD. In 2018, Kenmore was named a California Distinguished School, the state’s highest honor. Based on their students’ Spring 2017 results on the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CASPP), the school was named an Honor Roll School by the Educational Results Partnership (ERP) and Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEEE).
